Inserting commonly-used Javascripts
First Page 2006 has several of the most commonly used Javascripts built-in to the application. You can access and customize all of these Javascripts via a wizard. The following Javascripts are available:
Frame Killer - Prevents the web page from being loaded within a frame.
Drop-down Menu - Creates a drop-down menu of options and associated links.
Browser Type - Inserts the name of the browser that the page has been loaded with.
Last Modified Date - Inserts the date and time that this page was last modified.
Document Fader - Visually fades into your web page as it loads.
Current URL - Inserts the URL (local or on the Internet) of the page.
To insert one of the commonly-used Javascripts:
Click on the Scripting > Javascript > Common Javascript Wizard... menu option.
Select one of the tabs described at the beginning of this topic and enter any required information.
Click on the
button.
